DVBViewer <> Rotor Synchronization problem

Recommended Posts

Using DVBViewer 6.0.4.0
Satellite card TBS6928SE
Rotor Stab Rotor HH100
Satellite Eutelsat 9E, Hotbird 13E, Astra 19.2E\23.5E\28.2E
DiSEqC command sequence: see attachment

My problem:
I point my rotor from Astra 28.2E (BBC London) to Eutelsat 9E (BBC World).
The positionering (disk rotation) take approx. 30 sec...
Resulting DVBViewer is NOT synchronizing with the (BBC world).
Signal level is 95% but still waiting for synchronization (Black screen).
When I activate an other canal on Eutelsat then Receiving is ok.
When I return to BBC world the then Receiving is ok to..
Look to me that DVBViewer have problems to Synchronic after 30 sec of rotation.
When I adjust my internal delay to 30 sec then it will be synchronize.
But for each sat change I have to wait 30 sec.....
I like to take out the internal time delay of 6000 msec
But then I have always synchronisatie problems..

QST
01 Is there an option in DVBViewer that the synchronization will work all the time?
02 Is my Stab rotor H110 the problem...

Hope that some one can help my out this synchronization problem

Thx Rob, The Netherlands
PS The last picture Astra 19.2 is an example

Thxs for your answer, See attachment

I activate MPEG2 In Depth format detection

Now it I get audio NOT video (from time to time a little bit Audio and Video)

When I activate an other canal (same satellite) then the video audio is ok.
When I return to the last station (same satellite) then the video audio is ok to.

It look likes it is an little bit beter...

Does it make the motor move again, maybe only a little bit?

The screenshot looks like the stream is not received properly (like bad reception, dish not aligned correctly), because there are a lot of discontinuities, preventing the DVB Source from detecting the video format (thus displaying ???). Usable audio data is not received at all. Or does it change after some time?

Don't move. When I select an other channel the Video/Audio is coming up direct no daley..

I check te alignment of my disk by using a small Control box, see attachment

Result it is perfect in line to the max level of 95% I get on the exact pos of my disk

NO from time to time I get a small bloep of video audio, see attachment

Is the number of discontinuities continuously increasing in the "bad" state?

All te time the same.... until I go to other channel at the same satellite..

If the discontinuities get more and more, DVBViewer receives a broken stream. Maybe the DVB device or its driver get somehow "out of tune" while the motor is moving, and it takes a retune to fix it. If I'm right switching to another channel on the same frequency/transponder will not fix it. Can you confirm this?

NOT Confirmed. Switching to another channel on the same frequency/transponder will fix the problem.
