Langhuse
The Web Interface "By Genre" is no longer able to translate "category" number from all <recording>.txt files into a "By Genre" text. E.g. from a recent recording (but also applies to very old recordings) Quote Content=191 MinimumAge=0 TimerID={CCE5194B-D461-41FE-9E86-FB9313A2A750} Is shown in the "By Genre" named "Unknown_BF" (BF hex is 191 dec). I have 7 of these Unknown categories (1C, 1D, 1E, 1F, 7F,(e, BF) plus 11 that still works. I observed this after the last upgrade where the "Removed" category was introduced, but maybe there is no connection :-) Quote Link to comment

It's rather a new handling of unspecified content bytes. Search ETSI EN 300 468 in the internet, open the PDF and read "6.2.9 Content Descriptor -> Table 28: Content nibble level 1 and 2 assignments" for more information. Quote Link to comment
Langhuse
OK understood after reading. Just wondering why these codes were translatede in DVBViewer until recently ? Maybe some fallback strategy was used (group heading). Thanks for the answer - will do. Quote Link to comment
