e123enitan
I'm running every thing through server (details specs below), 4 client is running fine, I planned to ADD another Tuners (same as the current ) to server additional 4 users, making total of 8 clients. My concerns if the Video Ram is sufficient to handle the additions or If I need to upgrade Video card with Big RAM. HaraldL
You don't need a graphics card in the server for the DMS at all ? The DMS ist just transferring extracted data streams to the clients. All video processing (MPEG, H.264, H.265, ...) is done at the clients, not the server. Only if you transcode streams to different formats i.e. with ffmpeg for special clients the cpu of the server has to do the work. Quote Link to comment
