admi-ral
Hi, hab grad was ganz nützliches gefunden, um komprimierte Aufnahmen wieder DVD-konform zu machen http://www.wintotal.de/Software/index.php?id=2560 Hi, just found s.th. useful to re-encode Avis to DVD compatible mpeg2 vobs link as above works pretty nice - 1h30min avi (900mb) to dvd-dir in 35minutes Quote Link to comment
bergh
tach auch / hello ! And how is the Qualy ? Must be Eys shattering. A good Encoder needs at least Realtime to convert AVI Y MPEG 2 (DVD Standard.) With high Q settings sometimes even 5-10 times Realtime. My favorite TMPGEnc. or Canopus ProCoder Quote Link to comment
admi-ral
quality is nearly the same as avi, just try it! unfortunately there are only a few parameters to adjust... Quote Link to comment
Radioman
Well, I tried it with one of my HDTV-files from HD1. The result is not HDTV any longer! Quote Link to comment
admi-ral
Well, I tried it with one of my HDTV-files from HD1. The result is not HDTV any longer! the hdtv-file was an AVI? don't think that these formats are supported. why are you trying to encode hdtv to dvd-like mpeg2. standalone dvd-players don't support hdtv, do they?
