max9767
Hi, Im relatively new to DVBViewer though am able to set it up and access live tv ( UK Freeview) though after switching off my computer after an install the screen goes black. The signal strength appears to be 90% and the tv program information appears up to date though there is no picture. I have tried modifying the video renderer options in the direct X settings (in Video though this hasn't helped. Any help would be appreciated, ive looked around online though a lot of the responses are 15 or so years old and havent helped too much. Thanks Max Quote Link to comment

Some older DVB device drivers can't cope with the Windows 10 fast boot (AKA fast startup) feature, which doesn't really shut the PC down when you switch it off, but puts it to a kind of hibernate mode. In this case rebooting the PC (not switching it off and restarting it!) will make it work again. If this is true, you will need to switch the fast boot feature off. Please search the web for information how to do it. Quote Link to comment

max9767
I disabled the Windows 10 Fast boot though it doesnt seem to have made much difference. Could it be a problem with the driver not supporting Windows 10? Quote Link to comment
