Mute does not work

After installing my registered copy of DVBViewer pro on a fresh installed Win 7 PC, connected to a Xoro sat>IP receiver, the application works fine, except:

The Mute icon doen not work, neither can the sound be controlled higher or lower with the slider.

What's wrong?

So the volume can't be controlled at all in DVBViewer. What about the Windows volume slider that appears after clicking the speaker icon in the tray?

 

How does your audio setup look like? How is audio output? To PC speakers or to some other device that is digitally connected via SPDIF or HDMI?
