DVBSky T330

Strange thing with device DVBSky T330 - it's for DVB T/T2 and C.

I tune/record channel in DVB T (successfully) then I want tune/record channel in DVB C - without success (no data/connected/signal 0%).

But when I reinstall driver (last for Win10: http://www.dvbsky.net/download/win10drv_180820.zip) then I can tune/record channel in DVB C.

But after it I can't tune/record channel in DVB T. Therefore I have to reinstall driver - > now I can tune/record channel in DVB T.

But after it I can't tune/record channel in DVB C. Therefore I have to reinstall driver - > now I can tune/record channel in DVB C.

And again and again...

I would like to use both: DVB T/T2 and C, not only one of them.

Try if you can achieve the same by disabling and re-enabling the device in the Windows device manager (which resets the device and driver).

Often such hybrid tuner sticks are not designed for on-the-fly DVB-T/C changes, particularly because you can't connect them to a DVB-T and DVB-C antenna at the same time. Once a DVB-T or DVB-C channel has been tuned, they kind of lock the first selected mode.

Disabling/enabling device in Windows device manager solve this problem. Can you add this tweak into sw ? ?

Device "Hauppauge WinTV-soloHD" don't have this problem. My broadcast provider have in one cable DVB-T and DVB-C together.

Strange, today it stop working after about 10 changes DVB-T -> DVB-C -> ...

I install DVBSky Player (probably created by Christian Hackbart) and switching between DVB-T and DVB-C working a little bit better (no need disable/enable device).

You can use DeviceReset_64.exe (for 64 bit Windows, see DVBViewer program directory, installed with the DMS), e.g. by creating a batch file with a single line

DeviceReset_64.exe "Device_ID"

as content, where "Device_ID" is the section name of the device from your (svc)hardware.xml, like

DeviceReset_64.exe "@device:pnp:\\?\usb#vid_0b48&pid_3014#20131128#{71985f48-1ca1-11d3-9cc8-00c04f7971e0}\{f31bcf3b-9623-4937-8228-bd895ba00b61}"

Replace all XML encoded & by the original &. The batch file must be executed with admin rights or by the DMS running as service in the system account. The DMS uses DeviceReset_64.exe for Options -> Hardware -> Reset after sleep/hibernate (only visible if the options are launched with admin rights) and for the tweak "Reset DVB device before recording" (-> launch DMSTweaker.bat, read the description for the tweak at the bottom).

I think, enabling this tweak (plus enabling "Reset after sleep/hibernate" for this tuner) will be enought for this. Thanks.

The batch file as external task would enable launching it manually in the web interface -> Tasks. See DMS options with admin rights -> Tasks -> New -> enter your stuff.

Enabling globally this tweak is not probably good idea, I get today two BSOB (source: tuner AverMedia TD310 ).

Probably restart of this device overlapping with start of recording. But Hauppauge WInTV-solo HD works with this tweak without problem (and in .log aren't messages Removed/Arrived for this device when is restarted).
