difxati0
I have been using DVBViewer for the past 10 years for watching & recording TV. What I need is just to record the TV content whenever I open DVBViewer and keep the content whenever I close the it. I do so by checking "Start timeshift automatically" and "keep timeshift file". And it worked pretty well for the past 10 years. Starting DVBviwer 7, the timeshift function has been redesigned and integrated into recording. Now, the "keep timeshift file" parameter is not permanent, I have to click it every time to start the recording engine, otherwise the timeshift file will not be saved. Also, whenever I close DVBViewer during recording, a prompt showing "stop ongoing DVBViewer recordings?" appears and I need to click "yes" every time in order to exit DVBViewer. Its quite annoying and I cannot find any way to disable the prompt. Would like to know any solutions to tackle the problems? Now I just sticking with Version 6. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Griga
Launch Tweaker.exe -> Find the "Delete timeshift files automatically" checkbox. It lets DVBViewer delete timeshift files automatically (e.g. on a channel change). PLEASE NOTE that timeshift files must be deleted outside DVBViewer if this option is switched off, so that they do not fill up the whole hard disk over time. It is recommendable to configure a separate timeshift recording folder for facilitating it (see Options -> Recordings). Please take also note of the "Use ongoing recordings for timeshift" tweak.
