distorted video / sound after windows update 1909, included windows 11, last, please help! till 1909 version all ok on my player!

player: DVBViewer Pro

Hi there,

 

can you play a recording with the VLC video player (or MPC-HC) correctly? These have already "built in" the necessary codecs.

 

Perhaps reinstalling the LAV filters will help (https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases). Simply run the Installer-Exe and just wave through if any questions occur.

For finding out if the problem is caused by the Cinergy HTC driver or by playback components, please check the DVBViewer Filter property page. Does it display an increasing number of discontinuities?

if I revert to windows 1909, video / sound ok again; if I install further updates, windows 11 included, my DBVViewer freeze / distorted images and sound again!

 

windows updates done that, how can I fix that?
