bounguine
Hi! I have 2 TBS 6205 tuners (one for DVBT, another for DVBC reception). After system restart both are DVBT now. I cannot change any tuner type anymore (this option is greyed) in Media Server for some reason (I've never had this problem before). In TransEdit all is OK. Quote Link to comment
Webturtle
Hello, You could try to uninstall the drivers for the tuners in the device manager. Do not select delete driver under any circumstances. To be on the safe side, you should have the drivers at hand. With some devices you have to import them again. The drivers should be found under Audio, Video ... To do this, however, the devices must be active. USB sticks, for example, must be plugged in. When both are uninstalled, restart the computer. The drivers are automatically reinstalled (if they have not been deleted from the computer). After all you have to do another Hardware-Search in DVBViewer or DMS. Or just try a new Hardware-Search. Perhaps this will do. Many Greetings Webturtle Edited December 27, 2021 by Webturtle Quote Link to comment

However, you can still change the tuner type by editing the file svchardware.xml (see configuration folder -> config sub-directory) while the Media Server is stopped:
0
means cable, 1 = satellite, 2 = terrestrial.
