DVBViewer: direkt auf DVD aufnehmen?

Hi All!

One Question: is it possible to directly record a DVB-T Stream to a DVD?

Michael

Was kostet Ulead? How expensive are these Ulead products?

Maybe you should see the relations a little bit better and don't say: well other products (you have to pay 5 to 10 times more for them but who cares) can do this or can do that.

Well it's for sure a being upset about this kind of attitude

Maybe there will be something like this in the future, I don't know.

But there are several problems regarding live-recording on DVD. There have been several Threads about it in the german part...

a non-live dvd-record lasts 7(8x), 13(4x) or max. 25 (2x) minutes. how useful is it to add such a function in order to save this time while there are still ads in the record?

It would be very useful for shows you only want to watch once. For these the extra authoring and burning step is a waste of time, if the recording could be written to DVD-VR on the fly.

well, you don't have to author if your dvd-standalone is playing raw-mpeg-files ;) a usual movie without authoring about takes about 2-3gb, that takes 5-10minutes to burn. is this a waste of time?

if you want to be really flexible, connect your pc with your tv-set an watch on the fly with timeshift/dvbsource-playback
