hackbart Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 I attached a new version of their sdk, plus a twinhan module. Feel free to add comments, but keep in mind: The problem is not one from the DVBViewer. I just use their SDK in order to deal with the card!! Christian twinhan.zip Quote Link to comment
chimen Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 With this module I can start the program at least. But after i choose the module in Directx settings, I can only search for satelit channels. I have a dvb-t card. Or was this module just for dvb-s? The sdk made no diffrens. Quote Link to comment
I´ve dowloaded the paket and copied everything over the oroginal ones. Afterwards I´ve registered the filters using regsvr32. Also I took care about the CAPITALS. When trying to start DVBViewer.exe, the following error occures: Visual C++ Runtime Error c:\programme\dvbviewer31\DVBViewer.exe R6025 -pure virtual function call Rebooting didn´t help, removing the setup.xml neither Edited June 14, 2005 by yaRincewind Quote Link to comment

How does DVBViewer reason which one DVB-S/T or C it does use? It may be it would work otherwise if there was an option to select it (like Auto/DVB-S/DVB-T/DVB-C). Besides the thsource.ax crashes DVBViewer, writes nothing to log. Quote Link to comment

Guest Lars_MQ Posted June 14, 2005 Share Posted June 14, 2005 Visual C++ Runtime Errorc:\programme\dvbviewer31\DVBViewer.exe R6025 -pure virtual function call Well I know this message. It normally happens while debugging, some videocodecs get nasty. Did you try another videocodec? Quote Link to comment
yaRincewind Posted June 14, 2005 Share Posted June 14, 2005 (edited) How to select another codec while DVBViewer isn´t starting anymore? I could change the entrys:
InterVideo Video Decoder

Nero Digital Audio Decoder

<None>

1
But what to write instead? <auto> ? hackbart Posted June 14, 2005 Author Share Posted June 14, 2005 There is a bug inside the current DVBViewer which simply ignores the type of card. So to get it working try to import the channels and click on them. I fixed this, but not in the current version. Christian Quote Link to comment
yaRincewind Posted June 14, 2005 Share Posted June 14, 2005 Deleting channels.* didn´t help. Still emediatly after the start the runtime error occures Quote Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ Posted June 14, 2005 Share Posted June 14, 2005 How to select another codec while DVBViewer isn´t starting anymore? What about removing the module, starting the DVBViewer, setting the option, closing the DVBViewer and copy the module back? Quote Link to comment
yaRincewind Posted June 15, 2005 Share Posted June 15, 2005 (edited) Sorry, my mistake. It didn´t work. Without the modules, DVBViewer is starting fine, selected DVB File Stream as input device, changed the video codec, started witj modules again => runtime error Edited June 15, 2005 by yaRincewind Quote Link to comment
