boborg
Anyone else having problems with the FTA channels on 11092 V on 16 East? My signal is stable at 65 % then it starts to come and go in short bursts. It's fine on my regular satellite receiver but does this signal on/off thing with my Skystar 2. Could it be the high symbolrate 32000 that's the problem? Quote Link to comment
Derrick
..no problems here. The signal is ok and stable. If you try to get the complete multiplex with your SS2 you will run into troubles The B2C2 chip can't cope with bitrates above about 42mbps. Applications like TSReader which use the entire mux will show a lot of discontinuities and are for these high rate muxes quite useless. But if filtering is done with the b2c2's pid_filters everything is fine. With twinhan that may be different. Quote Link to comment
boborg
ok thanks. Only trying to watch the My Music channel. Must be some combination of my LNB and my Skystar 2 perhaps then. Well I can live without those channels on that transponder so nevermind. Quote Link to comment
Technofriend
>bitrates above about 42mbps Are you talking about 5,2 MB/s? These are 315 MB each minute and 18 GB per hour. That's a lot and should be sufficiant even for HDTV, right...? Quote Link to comment
boborg
Just wanted to add that it seems it happened because I did not have TechniSat DVB Server4PC running. Now it works fine. Quote Link to comment
