Hi

I just bought brand new unpacked SkyStar HD2 from shell in MediaMarkt and installed card etc, even open a channel what was last time watched, but when i want to open some other channel sat card act strange and mouse got hourglass for few second and no signal anymore. Than i pull out card, installed on another slot, same crap... Pull out card, install in another PC and same... Than i pull out card out and look on her and found that one resistor is not solder on place so i need someone who can make nice picture of that part what is in circle, on this image is what should be, it`s image from internet and my resistor is soldered "HORIZONTAL" not vertical like is on cards what i found on internet.

Problem is that i`m at home now, 1300 km from Mediamarkt where i bought this card so i don`t think so i can go back and return that card so easy for replacement :(

Maybe a problem is only that one resistor, so i will use hotair solder and tweezers than fix that but i want better picture to see better.

Thanx in advance...

IMO you better contact directly TechniSat company, maybe there's a hidden (for us) reason for this difference... anyhow I think they can lead you stright to the solution (or maybe they can be so kind to quickly replace your card... you're not at North Pole now, isn't it?)

:bye:
