EMP Centauri 8/1 diseqc switch settings

Hi

I didn't use DVBViewer for a long time, was on linux with vdr.

I would like now with my new sat. configuration to switch to windows and DVBViewer, but before I do that

I would like to know how to configure DVBViewer/transedit to work with my switch (emp centaury 8/1).

I have a Mystique SaTiX-S2, both tuners connected to a emp centaury 8/1 switch and those connected to 8 inverto dual lnbs.

In vdr I use the follwoing diseqc.conf

# DiSEqC configuration for VDR

#

# Format:

#

# satellite slof polarization lof command...

#

# satellite: one of the 'S' codes defined in sources.conf

# slof: switch frequency of LNB; the first entry with

# an slof greater than the actual transponder

# frequency will be used

# polarization: V = vertical, H = horizontal

# lof: the local oscillator frequency to subtract from

# the actual transponder frequency

# command:

# t tone off

# T tone on

# v voltage low (13V)

# V voltage high (18V)

# A mini A

# B mini B

# Wnn wait nn milliseconds (nn may be any positive integer number)

# [xx ...] hex code sequence (max. 6)

#

# The 'command...' part is optional.

#

# Examples:

#

# DiSEqC Schalter EMP Centauri DiSEqC 1.1 (DiSEqC 1.2, Goto- X, USALS)

#

Reading the transedit manual the diseqc configuration would look like somthing like this:

switch - uncommitted - 0

internal - delay - 15

switch - committed[unchanged] - 1

switch - uncommitted - 0

internal - delay - 15

switch - committed[unchanged] - 2

switch - uncommitted - 0

internal - delay - 15

switch - committed[unchanged] - 3

switch - uncommitted - 0

internal - delay - 15

switch - committed[unchanged] - 4

and same for the remaining 4 position with switch - uncommitted - 1.

Can someone confirm this is the way I need to go.

Thx

Reading the transedit manual the diseqc configuration would look like somthing like this:

..take transedit and give it a try ;) Use extended to edit the diseqc commands to your needs. The additional delays are imho not necessary but of course feel free to add delays. After you've found the correct commands you can scan with transedit and export the lists to DVBViewer.

Here's what I think Amos should look like according to your table.

Thx for your answer

Finally managed yesterday to give it a try (had some problems with my hard disk).

I needed to setup like this:

sat1 -> uncommitted - 1 committed[unchanged] - 1

sat2 -> uncommitted - 2 committed[unchanged] - 1

sat3 -> uncommitted - 3 committed[unchanged] - 1

...

sat8 -> uncommitted - 8 committed[unchanged] - 1

Not sure if the committed[unchanged] is needed.

Works very well even faster then then it worked on vdr.
