Crania1
Hello, i have a problem with the DiseqC positioner commands on the following system: Board Tevii DVB-S/S2 S464 (with DiseqC 1.2) Companie: http://www.tevii.com Diver: Rev. 5.1.8.3 Date 21.07.2013 (x64 Version latest version) Operatingsystem: Windows7 x64 DVBViewer: Vers Pro 5.2.7.0 (aktually version) LNB: Legacy and Unicable ( 2 Outputs, both works with DVBViewer) Dishmotor: GT-DM 14MG Manufacturer: GTSAT This system is running well but i think there is a problem in the windows7 software with the x86 to x64 wrapper because the DiseqC commands for the dish-Motor are suppressed. I think so, because before i installed the DVBViewer i had the ProgDVB (x64) installed and there where no problems with the DiseqC positioner-commands. I have measured the DiseqC commands on the antenna-cable with a scope. There where only the UniCable tuning commands "E0 10 5A xx xx". The positioner commands (GoTo xx) E0 31 6B xx, i expected to move the dish, are missing. And so the motor don't moving. The spec. for the Tevii S464 card says DiseqC 1.2 is supported. This is true because the card/driver is running with ProgDVB x64!!! Has anybody a suggestion about that? Thanks Quote Link to comment
Griga
There where only the UniCable tuning commands "E0 10 5A xx xx". Such commands are not created accidently. Chances are that you have accidently configured DVBViewer for Unicable. Check it in the hardware options by clicking the Unicable button. Quote Link to comment
Crania1
Hello, you are rigth, the command was not accidentically. I have configured this because i want to use it. This is the main reason to switch from ProgDVB to DVDviewer. ProgDVB don't support UniCable systems. But, my main problem is the missing Dish-Motor commands when I switch from one setellite position to another as I decribe previously. I have for example stored 2 preset positions in the Dish-Motor and configured that in the channel editor under DiseqC -> Preset Pos. with the rigth number. When I switch from one satellite to another in the channellist the DiseqC-Position command is not sending to the Dish-Motor. For your info: In TransEdit is the same behavior. Griga
Configuring a device for Unicable and using it for controlling a motorized dish is impossible. You are trying to combine two things that can't coexist. Maybe it's a misunderstanding and you are not clear on what Unicable really is. Unicable is not designed for transmitting DiSEqC 1.2 commands (or something equivalent). It supports receiving two satellite positions with a simple A/B selection mechanism, that's all. Crania1
Hello, my understanding from unicable is, you can feed 4,8 (or 16 in the future) users with a single cable and each user has the whole frequency range of one satellite position. (Downconvertet into the users frequency band). This don't excluded the possibility of a positioner. Anywhere... I did another test (without unicable) on the legacy-output of my LNB. In DVBViewer i have switched of the unicable configuration Option->Hardware->UniCable off. And checked in ChannelEditor->DiseqC->PresetPos xx the correct prestored satellite positions. Now, there are no tuning commands on the antenna cable as expected. But, on satellite switching, the DiseqC position commands are still missing... Thanks Quote Link to comment
