There are means to let TransEdit and DVBViewer send DiSEqC commands repeatedly (not only once, but two or three times), if they don't work reliably. Please read more about it here: https://www.dvbviewer.tv/forum/topic/67464-diseqc-setting-is-not-changing-switch-ports/#comment-506147 I don't know if it can help here. I just wanted to provide this information in any case...

P.S. Wedok ist leider sehr knauserig mit Auskünften und verrät nicht, mit welchem Client er auf welche Weise die Streams empfangen will. Das spielt bei der Auswahl des Zielformats natürlich eine Rolle. Aufgefallen ist mir bei dieser Gelegenheit, dass der Media Server mögliche Audiostream-Formate für die Auslieferung an Clients nicht unterstützt, die sich leicht ergänzen ließen und die Browser sowie viele andere Clients problemlos nativ abspielen. Dazu gehören insbesondere MP3 als Audio Elementary Stream (quasi unverpackt). AAC in ADTS-Verpackung. Opus und Vorbis in Ogg-Verpackung (Firefox & Chrome, nicht Safari). Typische DVB-Audioformate wie MP2, AC3 oder LOAS/LATM AAC sind für Browser unverdaulich, ganz zu schweigen von DVB-Transportstreams. Man kommt also für eine DVB-Radio-Wiedergabe im Browser um eine Transkodierung nicht herum. Der Media Server bietet jedoch standardmäßig nur Container (Verpackungen), die auch Video enthalten können: WebM (ein von Google erfundener MKV-Ableger für Streaming, unterstützt von Firefox & Chrome). HLS (Apple Streaming-Format für Safari oder Firefox/Chrome unter Windows mit Native HLS Playback Add-On). TS für (Nicht-Browser-)Clients wie den DVBViewer und VLC. Diese Container sind für reines Audio eigentlich Overkill und erhöhen die Bitrate - zwar nicht viel, aber unnötig. Man kann zwar in der ffmpegprefs.ini durchaus Einträge wie [AAC Audio 64 kbit] Cmd=-analyzeduration {analyzeduration} {offset} {realtime} -i "{infile}" -f adts -map 0:a:0 -acodec aac -ab 64k -ac 2 -y "{outfile}" MimeType=audio/aac Ext=.aac Delay=1000 ergänzen, aber das Webinterface bietet sie im Stream Setup (Zahnrad-Symbol) nicht für eine Transkodierung an. Dort erscheinen nur WebM und HLS, also Browser-kompatible Container für Video und Audio. Sämtliche ffmpegprefs.ini-Einträge bekommt man erst im Setup-Dialog für den M3U-Export via Links -> HTTP Senderliste (transkodierte Streams) zu sehen, der auf andere Clients abzielt. Auf den ersten Blick macht es nicht viel Sinn, DVB-Radiokanäle mit dem Media Server für die Wiedergabe im Browser zu transkodieren, da fast alle Sender auch Internet-Streams bieten, die bereits browser-geeignet sind. Braucht man jedoch wie Wedok eine sehr niedrige Bitrate für den Mobilbetrieb oder will Radioaufnahmen vom heimischen PC streamen, sieht die Sache anders aus. Die Anzeige von MP3/AAC/OGG-Einträgen in der ffmpegprefs.ini im Stream Setup-Dialog lässt sich wie gesagt leicht im Media Server-Code ergänzen - ist hier bereits geschehen. Die Frage ist jedoch, welche Art von zusätzlichem Audio-Output der Media Server standardmäßig anbieten soll. Ein Übermaß an Auswahlmöglichkeiten kann auch verwirren. Andererseits ist es für Anwender schwierig, herauszufinden, was an Parametern eingetragen werden muss, wenn es in der ffmpegprefs.ini nicht zumindest ein Beispiel wie das obige für ADTS AAC gibt.

Wenn du in dem Benutzerkonto, in dem der DVBViewer läuft, mit dem Explorer lesend und schreibend auf das betreffende NAS-Verzeichnis zugreifen kannst, sollte das gehen.

Yes, I did this. Zero in the position field, then store preset. The dish was manually moved to 30E by another program. I performed a scan on DVBViewer and it worked. Then, I tried moving to other satellites, but the dish didn't move. These coordinates are indeed my actual site data, yet the technician installed the system based on these coordinates for better signals as he said: 32N, 32.8E. The dish was already on 30.5E, and I already stored the position. That's exactly what happened when I first tried to use the USALS on DVBViewer. If it's not much, can you share a video of the configurations and initial setup at your convenience? That would be really helpful. Thank you.

Ich benutze den DVBViewer Pro 7.2.2 ohne den Mediaserver (bekommt demnächst ein Update)., als Betriebssystem läuft Win11 Kann ich mit dem DVBViewer (ohne Mediaserver) nun auf ein Netzlaufwerk (NAS) aufnehmen? Bisher ist der Aufnahmeort eine Interne Festplatte im HTPC Vielen Dank schon mal im voraus.

Der auf den Parameter -ab folgende Wert gibt die Zielbitrate an, die bei variabler Bitrate um diesen Wert schwanken kann. Nach dem Zurückkopieren der Datei an ihren Ursprungsort, einem Neustart des Media Servers (und eventuell erneutem Laden der Webinterface-Seite) sollte der neue Eintrag im Webinterface auswählbar sein.

Hi, Container ist egal. Das was am besten ist, für einen 48kbit Vorbis/Opus Stream. Oder 56kbit. Geht darum, unterwegs mit na gedrosselten Mobilleitung (64kbps) noch einwandfrei Radio hören zu können

Yes. There were no changes in rc_english.lng from 3.2.5 to 3.3.0. The file contains everything that has to be translated for the web interfaces. However, the Media Server Options (SvcOptions.exe) are using English.lng etc. because they share some option pages with DVBViewer. So by updating Italiano.lng you also update the Media Server Options. Thanks anyway for your efforts!

Input "0" into 'Position' field ("0" = Reference) Press "Store Preset" Button Done after "got channels" ??? Your screenshot shows the wrong site data. You said:: "These are my actual coordinates: 31.43N, 31.66E". Checked the configuration ?? If okay, the dish must return to 30,5 after "go to preset" with position = 0. Please keep in mind, that 'wrong' changing the Dish/DiSEqC-configuration possibly disturbs the features of your other receiver equipment. My dish is correct configured and alternative controlled by DVBViewer/TBS 5520, Coolstream Tank and AX HD51 under NeutrinoHD and VU+Duo4K under OpenATV (Enigma). This optimal configuration takes round about 6 hours through 3 days (~2/d).

Unfortunately, that didn't work. I tried what you said exactly and performed a scan on 30.5E, it worked and I got channels. I then tried to move to 26E and perform a scan, but it didn't work. I also performed a scan on 26E with TransEdit, but it didn't work. TransEdit 4.3.3 is available in the customer area Added: Preview: Support for using MadVR and MPC VR as video renderers in the TransEdit Preview window, including subtitle OSD. They can be selected on Settings → Preview if they are installed. This makes the Preview function usable under Linux/Wine. Please read more about video playback in DVBViewer under Linux/Wine here and in the following posts (German). It also applies to TransEdit. Fix: General: Adjustments avoiding certain issues if TransEdit is running under Linux/Wine (see here and here). Change: Hardware: Due to frequent problems with bad DiSEqC timing, the DiSEqCCount value for TBS devices is now 2 by default (previously 1), so that every DiSEqC command is sent two times to the switch (see here). The change takes effect on the next device detection (see Settings → Hardware). Fix: TS Stream: Memory leak if a transport or radio stream was received and the server forcibly closed the connection (WSAECONNRESET socket error, see here). Fix: Scanner: Wrong Network ID if a HTTP TS Stream was scanned, whose URL did not indicate that it carries a transport stream (see here). Added: Scanner: Recognition of HbbTV-only channels, that display HbbTV content from the internet, without providing a DVB video and/or audio PID. Please note that DVBViewer Pro 7.3.0 or later is required for importing scan results containing VVC video. Fix: Analyzer: The VVC detection introduced in TransEdit 4.2.4 assumed a wrong stream type value 0x32, that was reported here, but finally turned out to actually be 0x33. Fix: TTML Subtitles: Occasional timing issues caused by wrong handling of TTML timestamps. TTML subtitles are frequently used for MPEG Dash streams. Fix: Subtitle Analyzer: In case of TTML subtitles data garbage was sometimes inserted in the Subtitle Analyzer output on the left side. Though it mostly only appeared as additional blank lines, it could spoil the XML export to a file or the Windows clipboard. Hallo Griga, wollte mich nochmal fürs Feedback bedanken. Mein Problem war ein defektes LNB, das ich mittlerweile getauscht habe. Die Kappe war weg und nur einige Sender waren betroffen. Zusätzlich gibt es bei OE24 ein temporäre Verschlüsselung wegen Fußball EM. Lag also nicht an DVBViewer. Viele Grüße Michael ;-)

Ich glaub, mir würde das gefallen. Ggf. unter Erhaltung der neuen Funktion bei zwei geöffneten Instanzen. Was mich seit jeher eher stört, ist das on screen EPG (?) der aktuellen Sendung, welches ich bisher immer mit der mittleren Maustaste weg gemacht habe. Kann man diese Einblendungen abschalten oder drastisch verkürzen?

"Ton aus" durch einen Druck auf die mittlere Maustaste lässt sich im DVBViewer nicht einstellen. Im Zusammenhang mit mehreren Videofenstern/Instanzen bewirkt es genau das Gegenteil, sofern Optionen -> OSD Maus -> Funktion der mittleren Maustaste "keine" ist.

deaktivieren, wollte ich zuerst schreiben. Bin zu doof die Einstellungen dazu zu finden. Ich würde aber gerne Mute vielleicht doch auf der mittleren Maus haben, selbst, wenn nur eine Instanz läuft, z.B. in der Werbepause. Wo genau kann ich das einstellen.

Turn your motor/dish unit manually to real south (DVBViewer with ESat33- or 31-Settings helps to align, otherwise use compass to local south) Use positioner console (TransEdit) Input "0" into 'Position' field ("0" = Reference) Press "Store Preset" Button Whenever you lateron check your installation, use position=0 and 'Go to Preset' (aka 'drive to reference position') I you afterwards see a program from Eutelsat 33 or 31 (see above), your Dish has the correct base. Btw.: Also moving with 'position index' needs this reference position and subsequent 'Calculate Positions'

Ja, da war dann sonne komische Fußball (IGITT!!!) Doku. Aber der alte Timer wurde nicht gelöscht. Verständlich, aber vielleicht mit Verbesserungspotential??? Bei gleichem Sender und gleichen Zeiten könnte man den alten Timer doch zumindest deaktivieren ? 🤩
