sorry i have called Technisat and he told me i should ask on thios website! TV4PC works fine? It doesnt Work on my PC! Something with wrong file format! but Thx for your answer!

I have already mailed to technisat and to b2c2, but with no answer. I hope they made a driver for this os, all other hardware work ok!

I suppose this would require another video codec option for Marfis Renderer, so the request has to go to Marfi... the Technisat DVB Source Filter can't be influenced in the desired way, it's a bit stubborn. Christian already tried, as far as I know, but it always connects to the Mediamatics decoder, if possible, regardless of the filter merit. The only thing that might be possible is to unregister all other software mpgeg decoders and then see wether the source filters - Marfis or the one from TechinSat - are connected to the RMMPEG2.AX, because there is no other choice... Ask techniSat. Maybe that is a driver problem of his b2c2 driver.Maybe you get here an answer of your question. Works your TV4PC? Only if this programm works fine, the DVBViewer can work also fine. Do you have a signal and/or picture with TV4PC (original Technisat-Software)? Did DVBViewer ever work before? Bye, Oliver

I found this file in C:\Programme\TechniSat DVB\binI renamed it to Sky2PCAVscr.ax.old and started the DVBViewer and he work. So i think he dont need this file. If this file make problems, rename it (dont delete maybe you need thes file later) and test the viewer now. Maybe he will run. cheers Steffen

Auf welchen Dateinamen hört der denn? Bislang habe ich im Lieferumfang von TechniSat sowas noch nicht entdeckt. Ist der womöglich von mir unbemerkt irgendwo im System32-Ordner gelandet? Unter den registrierten DirectShow-Filtern finde ich ihn jedenfalls nicht. Griga

Hallo! Tja, du musst nicht unbedingt den Elecard Decoder benutzen. Im Lieferumfang von Technisat sollte der Mediamatics Decoder enthalten sein. Ansonsten wird doch heutzutage jedes CD-/DVD-Laufwerk oder Grafikkarte mit einem Software-DVD-Player und entsprechendem Decoder ausgeliefert. And to actually answer your posting, I just spoke to a Technisat person that told me they do not provide API/SDK, there's no public documentation. What docs they got, I suppose they've paid for it to B2C2 and signed some licensing agreement. Thus, if you want to develop for the SkyStar2, the cheapest way is to search a position with Technisat

If you realy want to listen to ADR Radio, search for a Technisat MediaFocus II on EBay, which is an analog SatTV/ADR PCI card, but bear in mind that there is no support for Windows NT/2K/XP

it was my fault.. i forgot to disable write-protection GavinP: USE the patch from HiddenMask hm... it seems as it doesn't work for me.... I can't get my card with 4.2.2 SkyNET.sys to work.... I tried everything... With Skynet.sys version 4.0.1 (Beta 8) everything works fine (TV4PC works and DVBViewer 1.94-technisat-edition works also perfect.... But i need Skynet.sys 4.2.2 because i want to sue cassablanca and progdvb and thats only pssible with version 4.2.2.. I don't know what i should do.. it seams that card is locked ( i already looked at eonlock.chm ) But the card did work perfectly two weeks agoo (also with progdvb and cassablanca) It's an original Technisat card... If anyone has an idea let me know...

Can anyone send me a patched skynet.sys ( version 4.2.2 ) which can repair eeprom?? I tried to use SkyNET.exe by hiddenmask but it says crack aborted.... BTW: My card is NO EOL-card... It's an original technisat I tried to use skynet.dll v 4.0.1 beta8 and then DVBViewer works... so it must be locked I didn't install any reg.. I think theres something wrong with dvbportal,winstb etc.....?? I hope you can help greetz erazor2k

Bonjour a tous. Je possède une ss2 qui fonctionne très bien avec les pilotes et le soft d’origine EOL. Elle fonctionne aussi très bien avec le soft DVBViewer. Par contre rien du tout avec , winstb, prodvb, casablanca, dvportal et même le soft de technisat. J’ai fais une maj des pilotes et toujours rien. J’ai testé avec le code et le code pin d’origine et toujours rien. Sur le site EOL dans la faq ils disent que cette carte fonctionne que avec leur soft. Ma question, existe-il une parade ou un patch pour remédier a ce problème. Merci a tous Hello has all. I possess a ss2 that works very well with the pilots and the EOL soft origin. She works also very well with the DVBViewer soft. On the other hand nothing of the all with, winstb, prodvb, casablanca, dvportal and very the technisat soft. Under WinXP and Win2K SP2, after that 4) Save original driver, then put patched driver in %systemroot%\system32\drivers REBOOT and my system crash when i try to run setup4PC. I cant scan satellite. After that, I try TV4PC and all channel say me : Cannot Play This Program..... And I use the technisat version of the software and drivers. I need to reinstall the Netsystem software??? Or what? HHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPPPP please

u must have service pack 1 installed, dont use drivers from any companies besides TECHNISAT, remove server4pc from startup, folow the steps described by pebbles1

done it... here´s what i did... after some formats and many installs, i installed win 2k with sp1, i followed the steps with the pached file, no BSOD or crashes, then, when the card was unlocked i formated and installed win xp, latest 2.2 drivers from technisat, and NO eol software. now everything works. Thanks a lot to Scribitus and pebbles1 )

Scribitus, Thank you for your valuable contributon but it has not helped for me with an SS2 card supplied by Netsystem (pcb Ver 2.3P). The Nesystem card has become locked. They supply a key.reg file which enters a value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ASTRANET of 12 digit Dword. I tried your file but Windows XPSP1 locks on reboot after exchanging the normal driver for the patched file. It is necessary to reverse the file swap under Safe Mode in order to boot. I have used HVIEW to compare code between Technisat 4.2.2 Skynet.sys and Netsystem version 4.2.2 and can find no differences in the regions suggested by you (157C0....157DB hex). I also looked in 257C0...257d7 (Sorry, I am not a programmer and do not understand the comment 257C0h virtual). I have obviously misunderstood your comments. I can find no reference in the Netsystem 4.2.2 Skynet.sys driver as to how the Dword above is used to write to the EEPROM. Any ideas? I can email skynet.sys file, MAC address and key.reg if it would help?

My box for this problem is: Athlon 900, Windows 98 SE, 256 MB RAM and so on. The DVB Receiver is SS2 (the EOL Enter. Boxed) I have d/l the dvb wiewer 1.96 demo, instaled it and got "Cannot locate B2C2 MPEG2 Filter Audio/Video Ctrl. Interface, error 91000101" message. I think the problem is not the DVBViewer - tv4pc doesn't work either Nor EOL eqivalent of tv4pc (don't remember the name of it). In any case the result is black screen (usualy with "Cannot play this program" comment in tv4pc) I tried Technisat 4.22 drivers and EOL's 4.1. The result is, or rather is not , the same. My question are: 1. Are those EOL boxed cards limited in functions or blocked some way? 2. Is it possibble to receive any TV with this? 3. Will DVBViewer work with EOL shipped SS2? 4. Any idea whats wrong with my one (demaged card or system trouble)? I'm happy Mac & Linux user, don't know much about M$ OSes Thx with advance for any help. CU

However, may I please update and clarify your instructions. 1) Clear out all skystar2_unlock.reg (look for b2c2 entries using regedit.exe) and unwanted versions of dvb software (EOL, EON whatever) REBOOT 2) Install latest Technisat software and drivers (4.2.2) REBOOT 3) run setup4PC. Scan your satellite long enough to get usual "no PMT data", then abort. 4) Save original driver, then put patched driver in %systemroot%\system32\drivers REBOOT 5) run setup4PC. Scan your satellite long enough to get usual "no PMT data", then abort. Yes, this is a repeat, but you have caused the driver to fix the EEPROM. 6) Put original driver in %systemroot%\system32\drivers REBOOT 7) run setup4PC. Scan your satellite. OMG it now works. Welcome back winSTB Thanks again!!! PS in summary, the patched driver will NOT install until after REBOOT, but will not update EEPROM until it is used by a program like setup4PC The change to the EEPROM will enable the original driver to work, but that driver will only be installed after a reboot. I confess that I am puzzled why the patched driver cannot permanently replace the original driver.

1. Save nonpadched driver SkyNET.SYS from TechniSat. 2. In HIEW open this in system32\drivers folder goto to begin of proc ISPReadCode and put -1 in AX and write jump to ISPWriteCode. 3. Recalculate checksum in header. 4. Next first access to this driver writed -1 to EEPROM. 5. Replace driver with saved in step 1. That all.

I have a Skystar 2 card which became locked by using third-party software. It was purchased with the Netsystem Yahoo offer, and it seems although the card is locked by replacing the newer 4.2.2 "Skynet.sys" file in the "C:WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/DRIVERS" folder with the the older Technisat 4.01 drivers "Skynet.sys" (and Rebooting XP) it allows me the watch free tv again. Unfortunately this disables Sat broadbroad as it blanks out the Mac address in the 4.22 application. When the newer "Skynet.sys" is put in the DRIVERS folder again and the system rebooted the broadband is active again but no tv. Whatever is in/not in the older "Skynet.sys" file gets around a locked card. Maybe someone could modify the newer SYS file to not check for the lock like the older file?

sure will be done, but this does not solve a problem, caused by misusage of a real Technisat Skystar2 PVR card.

Ich habe mittlerweile den Treiber »TechniSat SkyStar2 Software 4.2.2 (EON-Karte)« von der Website eonboard.de installiert. Weiß jemand, ob dies der richtige ist um die Karte zu aktivieren? Hilfreich fand ich den Hinweis (ich weiß nicht mehr ob in diesem Forum oder anderswo), dass der Registry-Patch erst dann funktioniert, wenn die Karte erstmals freigeschaltet wurde. Aber woher bekomme ich den Aktivierungscode und die PIN her, die bei mir jetzt abgefragt wird? Gruß snixx!
