pdmoro
I have developed a program using the TechniStat DVB SDK to record transport streams for my AirStar 2 DVB-T card. The format of the transport streams that I record with my application seem to differ from the transport streams that are recorded using the DVBViewer plug-in. My transport stream files won't play using many media players such as Windows Media Player, but the files recorded using the DVBViewer plug-in will play. Are my transport streams, recorded using the SDK corrupted, or am I doing something wrong? I can't seem to find any functions or properties within the SDK for adjusting the capture properties. hackbart
depends on, try to add pmt and pat table to your recordings. Christian Quote Link to comment
pdmoro
I am not sure if the SDK can handle that. Quote Link to comment
Griga
Sure it can. Use the IB2C2MPEG2DataCtrl2 methods. Of course it requires knowing the PMT PID. That's why it is included in the DVBViewer's channellist. Or you must examine the PAT (always PID 0) first, in order to retrieve the PMT PID of the desired service. If you are not sure wich PIDs resp. packets must be added to your stream, read this. Quote Link to comment
