Griga
No. The DVBViewer's plugin interface provides this possibilty, but nobody made such a plugin up to now. The best you can do (it's what I did - requires DVBViewer Pro or GE): - Create separate user accounts for you and the kids on your PC. Give the kids an account with limited access rights (no administrator account). - Protect your account with a password - Take care that the folders and files of your account are invisible in the children's account (no read/write access). - Configure DVBViewer Pro/GE for "per user settings", if not done yet: Open the file UserMode.ini in the DVBViewer directory with a text editor (NotePad) and change the line "UserMode=..." to "UserMode=1". In UserMode 1, all configuration files, including the channellist and favourites, are stored in the user's profile (Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data...).If there are no DVBViewer settings present yet, the default settings are automatically copied from the DVBViewer directory. In this mode each user account has individual settings. Changes applied by user A do not affect user B. - Go to the children's account, launch DVBViewer and delete all unwanted channels. Close DVBViewer - it will store the new channellist in the children's user profile. - Go to your account, launch and close DVBViewer, so the default channellist gets copied to your account. - To be sure, remove the file channels.dat from the DVBViewer directory and store it as backup in a safe place. - Let the kids only watch TV in their account This kind of protection works quite well... as long as the kids don't know how to scan for channels.
