mrr19121970
I'd like to see an option in the settings, that allows me to turn off audio & video when minimised. I can write a small workaround myself using the COM-Interface to mute: objDVBViewer.Osd.SetMute 1 but so far do not know how to stop the video. Any clues ? Thanks. Mike. Quote Link to comment
gibman
In uIce javscript I can do the following. look in DVBViewer/actions.ini ... Disable AudioVideo=16386 ... Enable AudioVideo=16388 var DVBViewer=Window("\\DVBViewer (TfrmMain)"); DVBViewer.SendMessage(0xB2C2,0x0815,16386+100); DVBViewer.SendMessage(0xB2C2,0x0815,16388+100); Look for the "FindWindow" API, which can't be used in native vbscript/jscript - only through a com DLL I think. I'm so lucky that I use uIce where I can get a window handle easily. /Elo Quote Link to comment
mrr19121970
Thanks for the tip ! but sadly this doesn't help me. I wanted to know how to do this in VBScript, and the API is not available to VBS. Regards, Mike Quote Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
... Disable_AudioVideo=16386... Enable AudioVideo=16388 DVBViewer.sendcommand Disable_AudioVideo would be a good choice or DVBViewer.OSD.ExecProc "disableAudio" or "disableAudioVideo" or "disableVideo" or "enableAudioVideo" At least this time I can say, it's written in the docs Quote Link to comment
Jeremiah
I would like to have following shutdown option: On Exiting DVBViewer do the following -> Minimize to system tray and disable AV And after that when I execute DVBViewer.exe it would become active again. I think it would make things so much easier when using Girder. Quote Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
I think it would make things so much easier when using Girder. You have all you need. Do it with girder and the DVBViewer plugin for girder. The suggested kind of behavior will be for sure NOT integrated into DVBViewer. Quote Link to comment
Jeremiah
You have all you need. Do it with girder and the DVBViewer plugin for girder. I have tried the plugin. And yes, it is possible to disable/enable AV with it. The problem is how to minimize/restore DVBViewer. It does not seem to work like for example notepad.exe. Quote Link to comment

Just what I needed, when in doubt RTFM (read the feckin' manual)... but which docs is it in ? it's not in the COM-interface documentation as far as I can see. Where can I find such juicy info ? Thanks. Mike Quote Link to comment
admi-ral
AFAIK is IS in the COM-Interface-Doc (took a look into mine ) TCMDType shows a list of all possible commands Quote Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
You could also take a look into the actions.ini file. The values are the same as the commands. Quote Link to comment

Or maybe you can create an external program or a service like windows media center that just has the recording interface with no audio or video? Quote Link to comment
