frazer Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 Hello, Has anyone mangaed to get the Xcard working properly with DVBViewer? I tested with a Hollywood Plus before buying an Xcard to use the RGB scart output, assuming that, as I was already using the Xcard filter (rmmpeg.ax), there would be no difference. But whereas the H+ worked just fine (without OSD obviously), the Xcard just gives me broken video for a minute or so before hanging the program completely. Audio is fine. Viewing the remote graph in graphedit, I can see that when the Sigma decoders are set in the DVBViewer DirectX menu, the graph is broken between the Sigma decoder and the Overlay Mixer, but using my own graph in Graph Selector (simply DVBSource to Sigma decoder), the graph comes up as it should, but the results are the same. There are no such problems in MyTheatre, but this uses a different DVB source filter. I now (too late!) have read some of the other threads about problems with the Xcard but have not come across any solutions; though it does appear that one or two people were still quite recently using one. So can anyone give me any tips as to how it might be made to work properly, or is it really not possible? I have become quite taken by DVBViewer, and would really like to be able to use it! Thank you, Frazer Quote
damy Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 I am also interrested in that combination (xcard and DVBViewer), does it work for you now? Quote
frazer Posted April 24, 2006 Author Posted April 24, 2006 Sorry for being slow in replying to your question, but the answer is no! At least not satisfactorily. I've tried it on two set ups, with different Xcards, and on one I get a proper picture on some channels, but a very (unwatchably) broken one on others. The second set up I have only just tried, and that doesn't give me a picture at all for some reason, though, as with the other system, the audio is fine. All very frustrating, but if you see the other threads about this, at least one other person has had a little more success than I have. Frazer Quote
