aFlyer Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 I don't know is this a bug or not. I have Hauppauges NOVA-T pci card and when my msn messenger (v. 7.5) is running DVBViewer (v. 2.3.6) shows a black screen. But only when I have used messenger's audio features (not simultaneously). When I shut down messenger and restart DVBViewer everything works. Hauppauge's own wintv2000 works fine. Has anyone same problem? How I can solve this? Quote
Guest Lars_MQ Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 my guess the messenger grabs the overlay, so the viewer can't use it. You can use vmr in DVBViewer, or you should use a messenger, which doesn't disturb the whole system Quote

Guest Lars_MQ Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 Which video decoder do you use? cyberlink < Version 6? try other decoders, some can't work with vmr. Quote
aFlyer Posted March 3, 2006 Author Posted March 3, 2006 Now it works! Using different decoder than cyberlink and using vmr solved the problem. Thanks! Quote
