Dvbviewer's blank screen when MSN Messenger runs

I don't know is this a bug or not.

I have Hauppauges NOVA-T pci card and when my msn messenger (v. 7.5) is

running DVBViewer (v. 2.3.6) shows a black screen. But only when I have used messenger's audio features (not simultaneously).

When I shut down messenger and restart DVBViewer everything works. Hauppauge's own wintv2000 works fine.

Has anyone same problem? How I can solve this?

my guess the messenger grabs the overlay, so the viewer can't use it. You can use vmr in DVBViewer, or you should use a messenger, which doesn't disturb the whole system

Using vmr (in DVBViewer's options) doesn't solve the problem :/

Which video decoder do you use? cyberlink < Version 6? try other decoders, some can't work with vmr.

Now it works! Using different decoder than cyberlink and using vmr solved the problem.
