fesche Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 Salut ! Does anybody have an idea how I can persuade my graphiccard (nvidia) to change the screen to overscan mode ? I have a damn 72cm TV and Windows uses only 66-68 cm Quote
oaks Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 There is a software named TVTool that has been made for that purpouse. You can find it at www.tvtool.de Bye, Oaks. Quote
Griga Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 Unfortunately most of the nvidia cards nowadays use a special chip for TV out, which is not supported by TVTool, because nvidia doesn't provide enough information for programming it. I had the same problem (and the wrong TV Out chip on my card, of course), but it was solved by downloading and installing the latest nvidia drivers - the detonator 40.xx package, which contains a better TV Out support. For more detailed information (in German) see here Griga BTW: Something like that can be found by using the search function of the forum (keyword "nvidia"). Quote
fesche Posted February 25, 2003 Author Posted February 25, 2003 Salut ! Thanks for your replies (btw: I already installed the latest nvidia-drivers, but as I use ONLY TV and no Monitor I cannot click this "clone" option to activate the fullscreen-button :-( ) I tried TVtool and it works for me. Unfortunately I have to order this tool, as I cannot use nvidia's built in functions :-( If anybody has another idea I am happy to hear ! <_< Quote
