tfg Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 I have a Technotrend budget-C card and I've tried different versions of BDA drivers and different versions of DVBViewer (also GE). The problem is with switching/tuning a channel. Often the channel tuning fails. The quality bar shows 0% or something like 45%, and there's no video or audio. This occurs when the new channel has a different frequency (mux) or when I start DVBViewer. If the tuning fails, I have to select a channel in a different mux and try the one I want again. So I guess this is a 'locking problem'. I've tried changing the settings but it doesn't help. Technotrend's own BDA program doesn't have this problem, even if the first try fails it eventually manages to tune the channel. So is there a solution for this? DVBViewer should try tuning again until it's succesful. Quote
Griga Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 I'm considering a retune timer in DVBViewer GE, but I still have to think a bit about how it can be done best. Maybe in the 1.9 final release, resp. when the ongoing 1.9 beta tests are finished. Quote
