matthiku Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Recently, I discovered that I can play demuxed (splitted) files with DVBViewer. OK, that might be old stuff but it was new for me. (TS files splitted into separate video and audio files with ProjectX as prepartion for DVD authoring) However, when I fast forward the film or try to jump to a certain point in the film, video and audio are out of sync. Has anybody tried this before and has found the same problem? Is that a supported function anyway? Thanks, Matthi Quote
Griga Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 You can read German, as I know... http://www.DVBViewer.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=11737 Demuxed files don't contain PTS (Presentation Time Stamps), that's the problem... without creating an index beforehand (lengthy...) it's very difficult to achieve sync. matthiku Posted March 20, 2006 Author Posted March 20, 2006 I can indeed (nice that you remember!) - and now I understand the problem. Thanks for your help, anyway! Quote
