lasciaperdere Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I have try to use more codec (intervideo, cyberlink, nvidia), but when I see the sat tv with DVBViewer, the image is not fluid. The signal is ok, the video result is good but not very fluid, this problem is more visible when I have moving images. This problem is the same on progdvb, but on DVBViewer is more visible than progdvb. Someone have an idea? Thank Giuliano Quote
Gioxy Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Ciao Giuliano, it's depending 1) on the DXVA acceleration (DirectX Video Acceleration; it activate the hardware acceleration of your video card) that your codecs probably doesn't set correctly; 2) on the render that DVBViewer use: the more performant generally is the "Overlay", but you lose the OSD transparency... To try to resolve the 1st point you have to update the video card driver and reapply the DirectX 9.0c, possibly the last ver., released in february 2006 (you can download the italian complete version here); if it doesn't suffice, you can see in the codec setting page to manually set it or even edit/add the relative line in the registry (you can find witch line in the specific codec documentation or serching in the forum/googling internet)... lasciaperdere Posted March 27, 2006 Author Posted March 27, 2006 Ok, I will try all that, but This problem is not present when I see films on DVD, with DVBViewer player, and the same codec. I think is a problem of DVBViewer when use our skystar. With progdvb I don't have the same problem. Giuliano Quote
