Sometimes, when Im recording something, and my computer hangs, I immediatly reset it, so I can continue my recording as soon as possible. But, when I try to restart DVBViewer, it freezes. When I open the Task Manager, the Page File usage is always too high, like more than 1 giga. If I close DVBViewer, the Page File usage come back to normal.

It happened with me today...

I was recording with DVBViewer. Then, I dont know why, I received a “Your system is low on virtual memory” error message. Few minutes later, my DVBViewer shutted down. I tried to restart it, but it was not possible.

So, I reseted my PC. But when I start DVBViewer again, it freezes few seconds later. And my Page File Usage is way too high.

At this point, no matter what I do, I cant use DVBViewer anymore. No matter how many times I restart my computer. It will freeze even if I use a brand new DVBViewer installation.

The only solution for me was use Windows System Restore, to restore my computer to a couple of days back. Only then, I could use DVBViewer again, normally.

Im using DVBViewer GE 1.9.2, but it happened before with other versions. Most of the time, I use this computer ONLY for recording, and nothing else. Its an Athlon XP 1900+ with 384mb PC133 ram.

OK. Using Skystar2 (driver version 4.4.0). I think everything else can be found inside the attached file...
