I'm using the technisat remote, and I'd like to know that it will be a function to PowerOn the PC by using the remore..

With this remote control and DVBViewer PRO you can do this.

This works if the IR device can trigger any of the Wake ON function in the BIOS.

So first check iout which wake on functions the BIOS has. Then choose an appropriate IR device that is connected to that port.

 

Then you can trian the software to shut down/restart the computer with the standby button on the remote.
