Freshmaker Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 If I record a tvshow on DVBViewer im not able to view it in other players or the quality will be poor or I cant hear the sounds, so how would it be possible to convert the file to be viewable in all players? because if I want to send the vid to my friends they cant view it and they dont want to download DVBViewer and if I burn the file in to dvd and would want to watch it on tv with my dvd player it wont work properly... Griga Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 The playability of DVB MPEG2 recordings depends on the DirectShow components that are installed - it's no special DVBViewer issue. Usually the Elecard Decoder Pack solves many problems (due to the contained MPEG2 demultiplexer). Read more about it here. The MPEG2 video and audio decoders are are also very important. Preferably use players, that allow to select which decoders are used for playback. Quote

Freshmaker Posted May 21, 2006 Author Posted May 21, 2006 (edited) But id like to ask another question. Is there a way that you could convert this mpeg2 format to divx (avi) or something with just a couple clicks? Edit: Found one program testing if it works now...
