kimohw Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I am using DVB-S card and DVBViewer program and using nvidia pure video decoder, now when I enable Hardware Acceleration, it gives me a nice boost 50 FPS but there is flickering on channels logo. disabling hardware accelerator no more flickering, but the image is not smooth 25 FPS. any ideas what should I do to get full 50 fps and smooth playback without flickering on channels logo ? Guest Oliver Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Do you speak of some kind of bobbing up and down about 1-3 pixels? That's caused by certain deinterlacers. Usually you can select different methods for deinterlacing within the video decoder, for example bob and weave. Quote
kimohw Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 (edited) that's exactly what happen with me, I tried all deinterlacers possible and still have bobbing up and down about 1-3 pixels only when I have hardware acceleration ON (Enabled) with all video decoders. I am using geforce 6800 Edited May 24, 2006 by kimohw Quote
