retro Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 After having BIG problems with my Hauppauge Nova Ci in combination with BDA-drivers, I have ordered a Twinhan with Ci to see how that works.. After a search on this forum, I found plenty on the Twinhan, but mostly in German.. So, in English or Swedish please, how does the Twinhan Ci work with DVBViewer..?? Stability, supported cams and so on.. I will have the possibility to return the card if it doesn't work. If so, I'll be forced to give up on DVBViewer, at-least for now.. Quote
yaRincewind Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Hi, I have this card running with an alphacrypt. Encryption works fine, but unfortunately there are sometimes discontinuities in the recordings. ProjektX tells me sometimes it has 30 warnings and more... With my SkyStar2 I never had such problems. Luckily the errors are very small, hardly to notice. Quote
Engelbert Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 My TwinHan Cab CI (model 2031) works without problems. The SAT-CI still requires well an improvement at the CI imbedding in the DVBViewer PRO. Quote
hellmelt Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 I live in Sweden. Recently started to try to use DVBViewer. I have a Twinhan DVB-T CI PCI card (VP-3040). The CAM is Viaccess, the subscription program is known as Boxer. For me, the encrypted channels DO NOT WORK! They work fine in MediaPortal. Sould they work in DVBViewer or not? Have I done something wrong in my configuration? Yes, the "Has CI" box is checked. /hellmelt. Quote
