squizzer22 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Hi, I have installed the latest DVBViewer 3.5 from the member section, on my PVR machine, but I cannot edit the channels. When I go on the option in the menu, the window loses the focus, but nothing is displayed. The menu is checked (as you can see on the capture). I have reformatted the PC, but still the same problem. I have a SkyStar 2 with 4.4 drivers. Thanks, Squizzer. Quote
Guest Lars_MQ Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 take a look at the setup.xml serch for frmChanneloptions set the x and y value to 0, most likely the window is outside you viewing area. You could also try ALT-SPACE the systemmenu of the window should pop and you can select Move and move it with the cursor keys into view. Quote

The string frmChanneloptions cannot be found in the setup.xml file Setup.xml Quote
squizzer22 Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 Hi, I have added

341

276

Closed DVBViewer, reopened it and nothing. Alt-Space doesn't solve the pb (sizing or moving option). Thanks, Squizzer Quote
SnoopyDog Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 The problem seems not to be caused by your setup.xml file. Just tested it with your setup.xml file and the channel editor window appears, after i click on "options" in the channel list. Quote
squizzer22 Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 (edited) That's what I think as the option in the menu has a check which is not a normal behaviour. Well, it seems that something is opening and closing quickly ... Edited June 20, 2006 by squizzer22 Quote
SnoopyDog Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 The checkmark is a normal behaviour! It appears after you open the channel editor. Quote
Quote
squizzer22 Posted June 21, 2006 Author Posted June 21, 2006 Sorry Lars, I don't speak German. What do you need ? Thanks. Quote
Guest Lars_MQ Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Sorry 'bout that, it was way too late Sometimes it gets confusing. Please close the DVBViewer and then change the settings in the setup.xml. Otherwise your changes will be simply overridden. And also please use the supporttool mentioned in the (german) link i posted and post the resulting support.zip here. Quote
squizzer22 Posted June 21, 2006 Author Posted June 21, 2006 Sorry, I forgot to attach the file ... here it is. regards, support.zip Quote

SnoopyDog Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Ah In the "setup.xml" file wich was attached first there was no
with an invalid "Y" value so i didn't got a problem. Best regards from Erlangen Quote
squizzer22 Posted June 21, 2006 Author Posted June 21, 2006 Well, I am a bit confused ... we are talking about the setup.xml file right ? Because there was no such these lines in mine. The entry wasn't there. I have added

300

60

0

732

588

But still the same problem Squizzer. squizzer22 Posted June 21, 2006 Author Posted June 21, 2006 (edited) I Found the problem !!!!!! I have 2 files named setup.xml. One is located into c:\Program Files\DVBViewer and the other in c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\DVBViewer Pro. I was editing the first one which wasn't containing the bad strings. The second one seems to be the right one to change. This is the reason why the setup.xml I sent to you was different from the one embedded into setup.zip. Thanks again for all your help and keep the good work !
