Guest Oliver Posted March 14, 2003 Posted March 14, 2003 Hello! but i'm unable to record a usable stream What is the problem exactly? You can't use PVA for AC3, by the way. Bye, Oliver Quote
oaks Posted March 15, 2003 Author Posted March 15, 2003 yesterday i made some more try and found out that it works if i record 2 separate streams (m2v and mpa->ac3). but it's not perfect: the ac3 stream is ok, but audio and video are totally out of sync. pva as you say results in an illegal stream and muxed mpg seems to be an illegal stream to (i'm not able to demux it or to process it with dvd2avi) bye, oaks. TVWatcher Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 You can't use PVA for AC3, by the way. There is a way to store any stream in PVA files. If some coder is interested i can share some infos how this would be possible. The only apps i know which support this is ds.jar(which died recently ) and my own ... Quote
Griga Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 Try to install the Decoder Package from Elecard. The mpg decoder is a trial version and has to be paid, but the demuxer filter is freeware and usually solves sync problems. Cheers Griga Quote
crypto Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 @oaks If you are really interested in perfect multi pid recordings, try dvbportal. It records the transport stream directly with up to 4 audio tracks (mpeg and ac3) at once and totally in synch. Quote
