coercri Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 (edited) Hardware - Hauppage WINTV Nova T DVBViewer - 3.5.0.1 beta I have DVB Server running on computer 1, and all seems OK with that - Running on Unicast and Autodiscovery. On computer 2 (or 3 in my network), it connects to the server (and I know it is being sent a stream as the Server program reports it connected and a good stream speed), and DVBViewer is able to display the EPG, and when I change channel the banner appears telling you the channel and the program - but I dont get any sound or video. I presumed the problem was with MPG decoders (although this wouldnt account for the sound), and I have installed Nero on computer 2 and 3 and I'm using these MPG Decoders (this works on computer 1). I have tried changiing the render mode, the MPG Decoder from Nero and Auto. Is there anything Im missing? I suspect the video and audio is being sent and recieved, but not played. Please help. Guest Lars_MQ Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 Yes you miss: Don`t use nero. They mostly don`t work. Use a real decoder, not a wannabe on from a diskburner Quote

Gioxy Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 In order of preference: Payware/Tryware/Shareware NVidia, Cyberlink, Intervideo, Mediamatics, MainConcept, Elecard Freeware DScaler, GPL MPEG-1/2, Stinky's* (*not tested by me) ...and beware of CodecPaks!!! Quote
