nigelbb Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I have just received my Technotrend S2-3200 card & am now able to receive DVB-S2 stations such as ProSeiben HD & Sat 1 HD. When I use DVBServer to stream over my LAN to other PCs it works great for all DVB-S channels both MPEG2 & H.264. However when I try & switch to one of the DVB-S2 channels then nothing is broadcast & the bit rate on the DVBServer main screen drops to zero. Is this a known problem? Cheers Nigel Quote
Guest Lars_MQ Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 This is to be expected, cause the dvbserver doesn't support dvbs-2 until now. As soon as there is stable support verified dvbs-2 cards (or me having a need for dvbs-2 what ever comes first) there will be an update. Quote

Glad that it wasn't something that I was doing wrong:-) I just hope that you get DVB-S2 support into DVBServer before BBC HD moves to DVB-S2. Cheers Nigel Quote
Derrick Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 ..just a reminder: please upgrade the dvbserver to dvb-s2 The real reason for this post is, that I don't know and can't find how to scan or import dvb-s2 transponders into the pro_channellist. Import from transedit doesn't work. I thought that @Griga had already explained how to proceed. ps. mea culpa I've overlooked the pro_beta in the member's area Quote
