Power on/off Remote control?

I have TwinhanDTV alpha USB. Is it possible to get power button work in both power on/off? If I assing my remote control power button as windows shortcut key to start DVBViewer it wont work same time as shutdown button for DVBViewer. Any ideas to solve this :bye:
