Whitey Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Does anybody know if the technotrend remote supplied with budget cards works with DVBViewer? Whitey Quote
Dr. Cain Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 I was kind of wondering this too, although it's possible to get it to work with winlirc.. It's a pain in the --------------- to train winlirc to use it. Quote

I think that Winlirc work with COM port only, but Technotrend's S2-3200 remote receiver working directly with DVB card's own port Thanks Quote
Gioxy Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 (edited) I think that Winlirc work with COM port only, but Technotrend's S2-3200 remote receiver working directly with DVB card's own port ...that's right... how to get winlirc work with DVBViewer If you have a working WinLIRC configuration there isn't anything special to do, except activate the reception of the WinLIRC commands: look in DVBViewer "Options/Inputplugins" and simply check the box near "WinLIRC"... then you can personalize all DVBViewer commands in "Options/Input" using the "Learn" button... only remember to save your work before exit the conf page! Dr. Cain Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Yeah I already had a compatible remote com reciever for Winlirc, and so far it's working really good. Had to train it in Linux with LIRC though cause Winlirc behaved real strange when i tried to do it there. Anyway, the result was real good. I can post the config file if you're intrested. The remote I got is the one from the S2-3200 which has more buttons than old one I think. Quote

Dr. Cain Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Here you go Rename it to technotrend.conf, the forum wouldn't allow me to add it w/o the .txt extention. technotrend.conf.txt Quote
