No sound in wma and wmv files?

Hi,

 

I have now such a problem that in DVBViewer I hear no sound on my Wmv and Wma files, when I play them in DVBViewer. There is no error message either. If I play the same files in the normal Media Player in the same computer, there are no problems and also sound is there. My recorded programs (inside menu 'Recordings') do have a proper sound track and it also plays well.

 

These wmv and wma files have 'Windows Media Audio 9.1' codec. My Media Player is version 9.0.0.3349. My DVBViewer is version 3.5.0.22.

 

Do you have an idea what to try? Should I upgrade Media Player?

The new beta version 3.5.0.50 (dated 22.10.06) fixes this problem. Now also my wmv files have sound. Thanks for a fix!
