olax Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Hello, Sometimes (=I haven't seen any clear pattern of it yet) DVBViewer complains about not finding LUA.DLL at startup, but when I confirm the error message, DVBViewer starts and works anyway. I did a search on the harddrive for the file, but could not find it. Can anyone tell me what it is, if it's needed, and the reason why the error message only show up sometimes? /Ola Quote
Guest Lars_MQ Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 lua.dll is part of girder, not used in anyway directly by the DVBViewer. Indirectly maybe by the girderplugin via girder. I think you should examine your girder installation. Quote
olax Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 (edited) Now I have uninstalled the Girder trial version, but at startup DVBViewer still complains about missing file lua.dll. The DVBViewer girder plugin is a plugin for Girder, right? -And DVBViewer doesn't start Girder, right? Strange. Hmm... The error message says "DVBViewer.exe" in the title, as if DVBViewer is the program that needs the DLL. /Ola Edited November 8, 2006 by olax Quote
