Könnte der DVBViewer mit HDCP umgehen, bzw. muss er das oder wird diese Signal nur durchgereicht und muss allein dir Grafikkarte und das Display dieses verarbeiten? Hat das schon mal Jemand getestet? Es heisst ja das es in einigen Grafikkarten schon eingebaut ist, nur funktioniert das auch schon? Danke! Markus Quote

Derrick Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Ich würde sagen, ein programm wie der DVBViewer hat mit HDCP nichts am hut. Das setzt erst an einer HDMI-schnittstelle zwischen GK und display ein. Quote
yaRincewind Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 IMHO gibt es im digitalen Datenstrom eben schlicht ein Bit, welches gesetzt ist oder nicht. Je nachdem, wird die GraKa angewiesen HDCP einzuschalten. Dazu denke ist muss der Dekoder dieses Bit auserten, nicht die Applikation an sich. Quote

Wenn ich den Cyberlink in DVBViewer für H.264 wiedergabe einstelle, wird dann nur der Codec genutzt oder auch der Cyberlink Decoder oder ist das dass Gleiche? Quote

No: HDCP has (at the moment) nothing to do with the DVB audio/video stream. HDCP is set on in the receiving devices (decoders) by the Providers most probably through the EIT/EPG: so it's the decoder that adds HDCP to the output audio/video stream (HDMI/DVI) and prevents the analog HD output (component that is) from displaying HDCP-protected content. But, in a system on which the providers have no control (for instance, DVB PC cards) HDCP is non-existant. And that I can assure you... Edited November 9, 2006 by Zyknyp Quote

HDCP is good for upcoming HD-DVD and BluRay devices: in that case the HDCP thing is harder to mess around since boh source and decoder are local. Quote
