SS2 pci

I there any place where I can learn to set up my SS2 PCI card....

cant get to finish any scan that I started..... at the end of the scan

it always says the program has to shut down...this always happened

at the end of the scanning......

I m stuck there .....

 

any help will be grately apreciated....

I had the same problem with DVBViewer 2.63 running under Windows 97.

Also I was using Video for Windows Driver version 1.0 from Technisat for my Skystar 2.

 

Because I had a lot of useful information about my system in my posting (e.g. support.zip), I was helped right away. My problem was that I was standing on the cable. I hope you are not standing on the cable? ;-?

Thanks for the rply.... When you say that .... Not standing on Cable.... what s that mean....

 

For my system.... It is a ...Pentium IV with a 1.67 MHZ and a 1GB Ram

the video card I think not sure though its a Nevia or what ever the name might be....

I dont think it is my system to start with..... some thing has to do with the software...

As example...there s this stuff about register filter..... well I ve tried to but with no chances

at all.....

 

I think this SS2 card is made for people who do know how to program or some thing close to it

because there s not really that much info for an ordinary guy like me to work with

 

After creating that subfolder Regfilter and move those 2 .ax filter into it and tried to go into

that Ragfgilter ...it would not open... as I told you there s to many things to do for an ordinary

customer like me.....

 

If tecnisat is really serious about selling those cards to people like me..... they should make it

easy for every single people on this planet who owns a computer and can read instructions

to be able to go to a store and buy the card ...same way like any other computer game

you buy it and you put it in ...you follow instructions and .... off you go.....

 

I hope one there s other people like me out there...

For the SS2 it is mandatory to install the entire technisat software packet. You'll find it on the CD or you can download the soft from technisat. Though the download doesn't contain a mpeg decoder for license reasons.

 

Trying without the soft is not recommendable
