USB Remote TTS35 not working

After a struggle I have Skystar 2 and DVBViewer 3.5 receiving BBC HD, (Using CoreVAC) however since this is the basis of a media centre I cannot get the remote TTS35AI working - Winlirc is installed but is looking for Remote info on COM ports - the supplied TTS35 is USB - where can I get a suitable driver? Looked through forum but cannot see any reference to a USB remote.

For the USB you did not need Winlirc if I'm right it is a HID device and it shout work plug and play.

But some of the USB device are broken.
