What do I need to do in order to play .flac-files?

What type of mediaplayer is used in DVBViewer?

I don't think that DVBViewer uses the .flac data type but I can be wrong. Anyway, it should be easy to play the files

Google is truly my friend...sometimes friends can't help you.

I have flac installed and some music encoded in flac. These files can be played through foobar2000, the issue is wether DVBViewer will be able to play these files and howto setup DVBViewer to do that.

Yes, it is possible to play flac if you are using ffdshow as audio decoder.

 

 

Perhaps there are more ways to do it but it works for me.

You just need to install a direcshow flac filter for exampel http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/
