PAL progressive?

Hi,

 

do you think it's possible to add PAL progressive to DVBViewer any time soon? I know about the current licensing problems - but maybe you could look into it... I think it will soon be a standard feature on most DVD players, so why not implement it in DVBViewer? :-)

 

(Guess I'll have to upgrade my CPU, though...)

PAL progressiv ist something for a DVD player or something like that. A pc can only pogressiv you simply have to change your resolution to 720x576 and you have a pal resolution with a progressiv signal, but the signal is rgb progressive not pal . The problem is the deinterlacing, the tv signal is interlaced and have to deinterlace with a nice codec to look fine @ a progressive solution.

 

if you can speak german i can give you a deeper look into the progressiv/interlace/deinterlace theme.
