No hardware available?

Hi,

I've got a FireDTV DVB-C card and every time I start DVBViewer, the program directly tells me "No Hardware available".

When I go to the options/hardware menu, and press scan, the card is detected. I can also scan, but 0 channels are found.

The settings I use:

Driver version: 4.2

Firmware version: 1.2.2

DVBViewer 3.6

Now, if I install the MCE driver and tell DVBViewer that my DVB-C card is a DVB-T and I let it scan, he does find channels...

What am I doing wrong and why does DVBViewer tell me he doesn't detect any hardware. Is this a bug?

Thanks

Do you select the right reception type and transponderlist in the channelscan dialogue?

Yeah, reception type is set to "cable" and the transponder List is set to "Kabel (QAM 64) 6895MS/s" (which we use in The Netherlands (Casema)).

It also scans, but finds nothing.

Using another DVB program gives me all channels when scanning and also using the MCE drivers DVB-T trick on DVBViewer also gives me channels, so I don't think the hardware is broken and thus I maybe am overseeing something.

Strange thing is when I close the program and restart it, it gives me the "no hardware available" message, so maybe the 2 problems are related..

Please find the support.zip file attached to this message.

More information: Watching using the program "MyTheatre" (same driver) works without any problem.

Problem was also there with DVBViewer 3.5

Solved the problem.

I've got a standalone Samsung HD reciever and I took the frequencies of all the channels, imported them into an .ini file which I then selected from DVBViewer and after that the "No hardware available" message was gone.
