HD stuttering after changing channels

I am very pleased with BBC HD using coreavc but if I change to a non HD channel eg Sky News or anything, when I change back to BBC HD it stutters and only closing DVBViewer and restarting seems to cure the problem I have fiddled ith both the coreavc and DVB options to no avail

Is this a new bug or is there a solution
