Bathman
I dont think I made my self clear. (english not first language) 9 When I have DVB watching,. When I go to time line I have hundreds on channels eg bbc1 anglia, bbc 1 central, bbc1 meridian. I want to set DVBViewer to show me just one bbc Channel (BBC yorks). Therefore I want to delete all the others. I tried to set numerous channels to favorites and this has helped but unfortuatly I have set some channels to favorites which are not favorites and now I cant delete them from favorites. Is there any way to delete channels from favorites. Tamur, tamur, khoob, khoob abar Quote Link to comment
Gioxy
Click on: • menu "Channel" • item "Channel editor" • button "Edit Fav." • select the channel you wanto to delete • press the middle bottom button (it show a little recycle bin) to delete • remember to save the edited favourite list with the next button (the little floppy disk) Quote Link to comment
Bathman
Many thanks for your reply - but there is a problem. When I tick on "Channel Editor" nothing happens (apart from a tick appearing next to it) there isn't any "Edit Favorites" to edit. • menu "Channel" • item "Channel editor" • button "Edit Fav." • select the channel you wanto to delete • press the middle bottom button (it show a little recycle bin) to delete • remember to save the edited favourite list with the next button (the little floppy disk) Quote Link to comment
Gioxy
Ah, I think I got the point... • close DVBViewer and go in the prog folder (normally C:\Programs\DVBViewer) • open the file file setup.xml with Notepad (or similar plain text editor) • search for "frmChannellist" • edit the value of this two line, setting "0" in both
0

0
save, start DVBViewer and enjoy... Bathman
Hmm, The plot thickens. I have installed an old version (3.2.6) and I am able to delete and amend my channel listings. But when I install the latest version I am not able. I'll play around a bit more and if I dont get anywhere then I'll submit a bug report. Quote Link to comment
Gioxy
...it seems that a solution is to write down the entire missing "frmChannellist" section from an old installation... I think you can place it everywere in the Setup.xml, but originally it is right before the "frmAbout" section... This is an example of how it could look:

100

100

300

600

49

Quote Link to comment

Griga
In DVBViewer click on Help -> Configuration Folder. It opens an Explorer window. There you can find setup.xml. Close DVBViewer before changing this file! Quote Link to comment
