Search and record from EPG with remote

Ok I am slowly getting DVBViewer in the right direction.

How do I do the following:

1. Serch the EPG for a programme

2. Record a series or record a programme every time it occurs in the DVB.

Note: I want to do this in HTPC mode and with a remote control
