Benarty Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 (edited) It took quite some time but video runs stable so I'll stick with DVBViewer. But there are still some minor things. 1) Siefern/Mediahighway: if I delete these lines from the option menu, and computer shuts down, restarts then DVBViewer puts these lines back. 2) Starting Infosat messages still appear when DVBViewer starts even when items mentioned at 1st remark are removed. It's stupid to show this kind of info and I doubt that it's related to the 1st remark. 3) Good cam support, so encrypted boucket decoeds good. a minor problem is that when DVBViewer starts that the video is not shown at all, untill I start the windows task manager . As soon when the task manager is started, whoops, there's the video. This only affects encrypted channels, FTA starts immediatly. I had to re-activate the smartcard and funny, DVBViewer did not show anything. Aftrer a reboot, and starting windows task manager..bang: video. Stop streaming when tuning other channel is enabled, if on or off has no influenece. Dutch translation file is eh not finished at all. But i'm working on a complete translation. I did not include a support.zip cause I've posted it before and nothing is really changed since then. Using BDA drivers and since the video is working fine (as soon when started) seems a good combination. btw, is it not possible to load all DVBViewer data into memory so that the harddisk does not have to turn on once it's being idled and you choose another channel? I rather add more memory then allowing to start-up the harddisk cause that slows down access alot and using no power managment for harddisk is really no option. Seems that ..after changing significant options within DVBViewer needs a computer reboot. Complete dutch translation follows soon. Quote
